New to Harris Covenant?
What to Expect
What To Expect When You Visit Harris Covenant Church
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
When is the worship service?
On Sunday mornings our worship service begins at 10:15 a.m. Christian Formation (Sunday School) begins at 9:00 a.m. and Coffee Fellowship meets at 9:55 a.m. Our worship service includes music, prayer, and a time of teaching. Our music is a mixture of new music and traditional hymns, and our Pastors teach every week from the Bible. All services typically last 60 minutes.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
Where do my children go?
Our nusery is available on Sundays during the worship service for newborns up to 5 years old. Your children will be cared for and loved by a consistent staff. We have greeters who will point you in the right direction and answer any questions you might have.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering plate, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider Harris Covenant your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to HCC. You can give by check or cash during the service.
