OUR MINISTRIES

Prayer

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7

If you are in need of prayer, please call the church. We would love for you to contact us so we can better pray for you. Our prayer team will be praying for your requests immediately.

Prayer Rooms are places of direct encounter with God. So much of our faith, if we aren't careful, can be a second-hand experience. We listen to talks that tell us what to think. We read books that inspire us with other people's experiences with God. But, alone with God in a prayer room, it's time to get the Bible open for yourself, going straight to the source. It's time to dialogue directly with God face to face. In this context, God often is able to speak to us and touch us in a way that no ministry session or book could ever achieve. God does things as people dare to enter His presence. There is a hunger and expectation to be in God's presence in the Prayer Room.

Prayer is like climbing into the Father's lap...

The small basement classroom has been converted to our new Prayer Room. Huge thanks goes to Keith Falk for constructing the kneeler and many others who donated labor, paint and furnishings. It is still a work in progress but the room can be used now.

A prayer group meets Wednesdays at 9 AM and 6 PM in the church sanctuary. You are invited to come and be a part of this vital ministry. A new prayer room in the church basement has just been created, and all are invited to use it!
